The Pelicans is a hockey team from Lahti. Pelicans have played at the highest league level in Finland in the Finnish Championship League continuously since 1999. The Pelicans won the League one silver medal in the 2011-12 season.

How to get tickets

Go to the match calendar and search the match you want to attend. To the match calendar. Tickets can be purchased for example from lippu.fi/pelicans or Pelicans office. The Pelicans office is open from Monday till Friday 10-16.

History

Pelicans is a hockey club from Lahti, whose roots go back to the Viipurin Reipas, founded in 1891. Viipurin Reipas won the first Finnish hockey championship of all time, and the 1928 championship pennant adorns Isku Areena. The name of the club has changed several times during its long history: Lahti Reipas, Kiekkoreipas, Hockey-Reipas and Reipas Lahti. Since 1996, the name of the Lahti hockey flagship has been Pelicans.
